I’m proud and very excited that I am the WINNER of the Canon Grand Prix 2017 in the category of Portraits. To complete the grand finale I’m going to Split Croatia with the other 3 category-winners – the final round!
The jury said “We were surprised by the work of the participants in this category. An excellent result in which this series was highlighted by the good expression, captured in a fascinating amount of 4 images. The rising tension, intensity and emotion, in which a classic light-exposure has been chosen stimulates the jury as a viewer. By using a striking crop, the portrait becomes increasingly intrusive. Moving, and thus a winning portrait series! ”
The next final will take place in late September in Croatia where the finalists will complete their final assignments that will be decisive to win the Canon Grand Prix 2017!
